I would like to introduce the most reliable co-founder in the ecosystem. It does not eat. It does not sleep. It does not ask for a 50/50 split after watching one YouTube video about equity. It is a Figma file. Its name is Untitled.

Untitled has been with me since the beginning, which was a Thursday. Together we have raised nothing, launched nothing, and aligned on a type scale so refined it could be in a museum. The museum is closed on Mondays. So are we.

Division of labor

I handle vision, narrative, and the part where I stare at the ceiling. Untitled handles components, auto-layout, and the quiet dignity of never having to talk to a user. When there is conflict, I duplicate the frame. This is our version of a hard conversation.

People ask if I am looking for a technical co-founder. I tell them I am being intentional about culture. Culture is a word that means I am afraid of someone who can finish the sentence “this will take six months.”

Equity

Untitled owns 40 percent and all of the shadows. I own 60 percent and the domain. The domain is the most expensive employee we have. It sits there, renewing itself, waiting for a product the way a dog waits for a person who said they were just going to get oat milk.

If you are a real engineer and you are reading this with your jaw tight: good. Come take the file. Give it constraints. Make it do something when you press the button. I will still call myself Founder. You can be the person who built it. History will not mind. LinkedIn will.
